Masks for Wellesley

by Sister Ruth Anne Brighton

While looking for darning cotton for the young man’s socks, I found out Joann’s (a fabric store in the US) was giving out free kits for making masks. I took one and began making them when the young man who now works at Joann’s part time, brought me another kit. Finished, they were all (minus 2) were brought to Wellesley.  Now the young man wants to be taught how to make masks. His desire and intentions are great just far above his skills. He is practicing cutting lines and curves with paper and some cloth. The sewing machine will definitely be  safely turned over to me. A fun and challenging project.

Gardens We Know and Love

Many people we know are garden people. They love to be part of the cycle of planting, nurturing, weeding, watering and harvesting (and sharing) from the fruits of their labour. Fruitfulness is a sign of the Spirit.
