RYAN, Sister Frances, SC In her 70th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Charity, Halifax, NS, “Sister Fran”, passed peacefully into the heart of God on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Care Dimensions Hospice House in Lincoln. She was 92 years young! Cherished daughter of the late William A. Ryan and Catherine J. (Brodbine) Ryan; and her siblings, Joseph P. Ryan, Kathleen A. Muldoon, Rosemary M. Alfaro, Rita J. Maher, and Sally E. Ryan. Sister Fran is survived by cherished nieces and nephews, their families and her loving Sisters in community, especially her dearest friend and caregiver of many years, sister Marie LaBollita, SC. Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Sister Fran’s life by gathering to visit at 10:30 am, Thursday, January 20, 2022 in Our Lady Help of Christian’s Church, 573 Washington Street, Newton. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham.
