Like all who knew you, I’m grateful for the valiant, self-less life you shared with us, Kathleen.
Kathleen was the kindest, life-loving person I know. I remember this past October Kathleen was searching for something to wear on Halloween. She told me she got rid of all her Halloween things as she didn’t think she’d “still be around” but she was ready to celebrate again. That was Kathleen. She showed us how to live and laugh and now showed us how to die. God bless you my dear friend. Pray for us!
I met Sr. Kathleen at UBC. She was a light in a dark world. We named our younger daughter s after her. She said, “I will be delighted to share my name with her.” Our daughter was, in fact, born Easter Monday and Kathleen rejoiced with us. Our Kathleen was given Sr. Kathleen’s Baptism cup which she cherishes to this day. We did ask Sr. Kathleen to be her Godmother, but she declined because of her calling.
May she Rest In Peace.
