REGAN, Sister Ann Sister James Mary, beloved Sister of Charity, Halifax, for 60 years, entered peacefully into eternal life on Friday, March 4, 2022. Devoted daughter of the late James J. and Olive M. (Bradstreet) Regan. She leaves many loving cousins and her sisters in the congregation. Sister Ann’s desire to serve the poor and disenfranchised found her missioned to Saint Peter Parish, Lowell, MA, Saint Kevin and Saint Peter Parishes in Dorchester, MA. Sister Ann also served as a member of the Community Leadership Team at Mount Saint Vincent, Wellesley, MA, and as a Congregational Councilor on the Congregational Leadership Team. As a member of the Boston Unit of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, Sister Ann was instrumental in the establishment of Bakhita Community, a safe house for victims of domestic violence. Sister Ann was also facilitator of the Associates of the Sisters of Charity, Halifax, in the Boston/Merrimack Valley/South Shore areas. In her final ministry, she served as Chaplain at Marillac Residence, Mount Saint Vincent, Wellesley, MA. Funeral Services will be held at Saint John the Evangelist Parish, Wellesley, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM with a wake preceding the Mass at 10:00 AM. So very sad to say goodbye to Sr. Ann, a gentle, loving soul. We know you are resting in peace in the arms of the angels.
I am very saddened of Sister Ann’s passing . My memory with her were those of laughing and enjoying our associates get to get hers at Wellesley and Falmouth. God has gotten another angel
